I'm George, an Independent Mortgage and Protection Adviser based in Leeds. Before I moved into mortgage advice, I spent more than ten years as a qualified accountant working in company finance, on budgets, forecasts and management accounts. I've also bought and financed property as an investor myself. So I come at your mortgage the way I'd approach any financial decision: by understanding the numbers properly first.
